I developed a mobile gamified step counter application prototype by utilizing a combination of tools, including Android Studio, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Unity.

The primary objective of this app is to encourage users to walk daily through gamification elements such as an award system, achievement badges, and an engaging time-traveling narrative. To ensure a successful development process, I applied agile methodology principles, ensuring that all functional and non-functional requirements were met during each sprint.

 
 

The creation of visual assets for UI/UX was accomplished using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as assets provided in the Unity Store (check it out here). The user experience begins with an enjoyable time-traveling narrative backdrop that users can immerse themselves in. Users are then prompted to create their accounts. As users reach their step goals, they can unlock and store achievement badges in their profiles. In this prototype, the journey commences in the dinosaur era. In the future, my goal is to expand this project by adding more levels and further refining the user interface and experience.
